Trix H0 25141 H0 SNCF series 141-R steam locomotive

Like a phoenix from the ashes, the steam locomotive giant represented an absolute revolution for the SNCF after the war. As the French locomotive fleet was severely diminished, robust and versatile Mikado locomotives were ordered from the USA. The first series of 700 locomotives was already delivered in 1945, followed by a second series of 640 locomotives by 1947. The 141 R was used in many types of trains and was particularly popular for heavy freight and express trains. Nine of these locomotives still exist today, including the 141 R 1244, which is preserved as an operational vintage locomotive in Switzerland.

To ensure a perfect driving experience even on tight curves with the surprise model 2024, the distance between the locomotive and tender can be conveniently increased.

The model of the 141 R operates with an oil tender in the visual condition of the SNCF, just like the locomotive is currently operational in Brugg, Switzerland.

For true driving pleasure, the mfx+ decoder offers fantastic digitally switchable functions such as cab lighting, chassis lighting, and firebox flickering. The delicate metal construction of the 141 R includes a built-in smoke generator for realistic steam locomotive operation as standard. The buffer height complies with NEM standards.

The cab walls feature curtains along with multi-colored driver and stoker seats. The flame of the oil burner flickers in the firebox, creating the authentic and unique fire flickering effect.
