Trix H0 22931 H0 DB class 103 electric locomotive

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 103 electric locomotive. Version with short cabs, single-arm pantographs, end skirting, and buffer cladding. Crimson and beige basic paint scheme. Road number 103 152-5. The locomotive looks as it did starting in 1979.

Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It features controlled, high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally mounted flywheel. Two axles in each truck are powered using cardan shafts, and it includes traction tires. Triple headlights and dual red marker lights change with the direction of travel, work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at locomotive ends 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation. There is a double A light function. Cab lighting changes with the direction of travel, and both cab and engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. There are many separately applied control wheel imitations in the cabs, grab irons, windshield wipers, UIC sockets, and roof conductors. The buffer height conforms to the NEM. Brake lines, sockets, steps, prototype couplers, and close skirting are included separately for installation on the locomotive. Length over the buffers is approximately 22.4 cm / 8-13/16".
