Trauffer Wood marmot

This marmot is a creation of the traditional wooden toy manufacturer TRAUFFER. Alfred Trauffer founded his small carving workshop in 1938, where he produced easily understandable and concrete animal figures. Today the family business is carried on in the third generation and has long been one of the largest toy manufacturers in Switzerland. TRAUFFER's wooden figures are characterized by their uniqueness, the tradition of craftsmanship and the use of Swiss wood. Each piece is unique, because the individual figures are cut, sanded and painted by hand.
