Once the rubber trees no longer produce latex, they are harvested and replanted. Previously, the wood was burned, releasing a lot of CO2; those times are over in Asia. Today, toys and many other items are made from the wood. Tender Leaf wooden toys are manufactured according to the strict regulations of the European Union and the USA. Water-based paints are used, along with softly sanded edges and corners.
