The KSM-3 reversing loop module changes the polarity within a few milliseconds as soon as it detects the voltage drop at the junction when a train enters or leaves. The KSM-3 thus reacts even before the voltage actually collapses as a result of the short circuit. To ensure precise adjustment of the short-circuit sensitivity, an LED on the circuit board indicates when the optimum level has been reached.
Additional turnout output: Before the train leaves the reversing loop, the reversing loop polarity and the turnout are set correctly at the same time. Suitable for the connection of turnouts with double coil drive.
