All connections of the Next18 interface are brought out to solder pads. Connections for function outputs: The use of the connections depends on the decoder with which the adapter is combined. With Next18 decoder without external SUSI module: 8 switching outputs (F0f and F0r amplified, AUX1 and AUX2 amplified, AUX3 and AUX4 optionally amplified or unamplified, AUX5 and AUX6 unamplified). With Next18 decoder with external SUSI module: 6 switching outputs (F0f and F0r amplified, AUX1 and AUX2 amplified, AUX5 and AUX6 unamplified). With Next18-S decoder: 6 switching outputs (F0f and F0r amplified, AUX1 and AUX2 amplified, AUX3 and AUX4 optionally amplified or unamplified). Connection for buffer capacitor (GND, U+). Optional use for: external buffer capacitor (capacity 100 to 470 µF, voltage rating min. 25 V) or external buffer circuit according to RCN-530 (switches to ground). SUSI interface: according to RCN-600 classic version (up to 1000 mA). Due to space constraints, the SUSI interface is not equipped with a pin header for a cable connector. The connection cables of the SUSI module must be soldered directly to the solder pads.
