Product details

It is directly connected to the socket for a "normal" support capacitor and optionally connected to a free switch output to be able to turn the UPS on and off as needed, or connected to the special output for buffer circuits. When the system is powered on, the UPS-mini limits the charging current for the super capacitor to 100 mA. Additionally, the UPS monitors the track voltage and interrupts the charging of the super capacitor as soon as the existing track voltage drops below 12 V. When programming the decoder on the main track, the UPS-mini is automatically turned off, provided the control line is connected to a decoder output or the UPS-mini is connected to the special output for buffer circuits. Tips: If the central unit sends speed step 0 for the locomotive, the track voltage remains present – there is therefore no reason for the UPS-mini to "intervene." The locomotive stops just as precisely in front of a signal as it would without the UPS-mini. For stopping sections where the track voltage is completely turned off, the packet time out should be defined by adjusting the value on the vehicle decoder to ensure an exact signal stop.
