The Super Astute 2018 is a reissue of the classic from 1991. The model largely corresponds to the first version and has only been revised in a few areas. A highlight is the modernized Tamiya slipper clutch.

  • 1/10 scale kit model
  • 2WD drive
  • 2.5 mm FRP chassis for a low center of gravity
  • Revised battery holder (not suitable for cross-soldered battery packs, optimized for stick packs)
  • Independent suspension front and rear with CVA oil-filled shock absorbers
  • Closed gearbox with TTC (Tamiya's first slipper clutch), protects the gearbox and reduces wheel slippage. The slipper has been modernized internally and is adjustable.
  • Main gear in module 0.5
  • Low profile servo required
  • High grip spike tires
  • Durable polycarbonate body and rear wing (clear).
