Tamiya presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) now in the version with a Mercedes Benz G500 body. The CC-02 chassis is modeled after real off-road vehicles and features a frame chassis, bevel differentials at the front and rear, as well as a 4-link suspension. The solid axles at the front and rear make the model particularly capable off-road, and the 4 CVA oil-filled shock absorbers perfectly absorb any bumps.

Power is provided by a robust 540 motor, which is mounted behind the front axle. This ensures good weight distribution when tackling rough terrain. Attached to the motor is the gearbox, which transmits power via movable drive shafts to the front and rear axles.

The body features the distinctive design of the Mercedes Benz G500 and is made from polycarbonate. Additionally, Tamiya has included a separate front grille, side mirrors, and wheel arches. A highlight is the included Tamiya TLU-01 light set for stylish LED lighting of the model.
