Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV)

The Fast Attack Vehicle is an R/C buggy that replicates the appearance of a special military vehicle. This re-released version includes improvements to meet modern R/C standards while maintaining the same basic chassis design as the original 1984 model. It features a realistic body, roll cage, and a soldier figure, along with equipment such as a machine gun, all of which can be finished with plastic model paints. Additionally, the black, white, and olive drab camouflage pattern can be easily applied using the included stickers. Semi-pneumatic grooved front and rear tires with block-pattern tread provide excellent traction on off-road surfaces.

The durable lightweight ABS frame is paired with a battery case compatible with modern power sources such as Tamiya Racing Packs and LF batteries. The 4-wheel independent suspension consists of coil springs and trailing arms, featuring a 186mm-wide tread to ensure outstanding off-road stability. The enclosed gearbox protects the differential gears from dirt and debris, enabling smooth cornering. Furthermore, the driveshafts are equipped with dogbone-type joints and dust covers to enhance durability.
