Tamiya Buggy The Boomerang (2008), 4WD, 1/10th scale kit

Reissue of a Tamiya buggy classic. 3-piece Hotshot bathtub chassis. Independent suspension with CVA oil-filled shock absorbers. 4WD drivetrain with a driveshaft. Ball-bearing gearbox. Body and chassis cover made of Lexan (unpainted). Includes a 540 brushed motor. A brushed motor is particularly convincing due to its simple design and resulting ease of maintenance. Additionally, the brushed motor is significantly cheaper to purchase compared to a brushless motor. Buggies typically feature tires with a pronounced off-road tread and a well-tuned suspension. This makes them ideal models for tough off-road use. The gearboxes are often closed, thus protecting against incoming dirt. Furthermore, the shock absorbers usually operate hydraulically and can be tuned with different oils. Difficulty level: Beginner. No special prior knowledge in model building is required for this product. The necessary materials for completion and commissioning are usually fully included in the delivery. Kits are model components that need to be assembled and may require additional parts. This allows for a variety of configuration options but also requires some prior knowledge in model building.
