Product details
The Audi V8 competed in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991. This V8 was driven by Frank Biela, who managed to secure four season victories and thus clinched the overall title at the end of the season. The 58682 Tamiya model, scaled at 1:10, is based on the TT-02 chassis. This chassis features adjustable wheelbase, ground clearance, track width, and gear ratios, and with countless optional tuning parts, it can be quickly modified into a racer. The 4WD drive with a central shaft, double wishbones, and shock absorbers on all four wheels ensures a realistic driving experience and excellent traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. A visual highlight is the wheel hubs, which have attached brake disc replicas. Required accessories include a remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger, paint for the polycarbonate body (Tamiya PS-), a kit model with a detailed assembly guide, an electronic brushless/brushed speed controller, a 540 electric motor, and a polycarbonate body.
