The VW Golf MK2 GTI 16V is a classic on the scene and the TAMIYA kit has now been faithfully reproduced. The VW Golf won the Group A A7 class in 1986. In the group A cars had 4 seats and more than 2,500 were built each year. The Golf had a 1.78L engine with 4-cylinder and 195hp. The TAMIYA MF-01X chassis had four-wheel drive and grippy Rally Block tyres. With independent suspension and closed drive via a cardan shaft, this is the perfect base for the Ford Escord and ready for RC rally feeling.
