Tamiya 1/10 RC Quirkhopper (GF-02)

The Tamiya Quirkhopper is the second RC model built on the GF-02 chassis. The concept of this model is sleek and insect-like, with the word "Quirk" meaning unusual, unique, or unexpected. About the GF-02 chassis: The gear-driven 4WD GF-02 chassis features a motor positioned low and centrally within a lightweight and robust monocoque frame. Power is transmitted to the front and rear axles via gears. The long wheelbase and wide track provide stable off-road capabilities. The slim frame is designed with ladder/tube motifs and includes integrated, sealed gearboxes to prevent the ingress of stones. Front and rear differentials allow for smooth cornering. Separately available pinions offer three different gear ratios. A motor guard enhances reliability in rough terrain. The double wishbone suspension on all four wheels is equipped with four friction dampers. Required accessories include a remote control with receiver, motor, speed controller, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger, and Tamiya PS paint.
