Size: 9 ft. Stradivari natural slate panels for billiard tables come from Italy. They are diamond-ground within minimal tolerances, ensuring no height offset. Embedded in the panels are 3-point metal connectors that allow the panels to be easily, precisely, and seamlessly pushed together. The 22 and 25 mm thick slate panels guarantee excellent playing and rolling characteristics. Italian Stradivari slate playing fields are extremely stable and hard, forming the core of any table. Cheaper slate from overseas can warp more easily, potentially damaging the table and detracting from the playing experience. Therefore, we place the highest value on this part of the table. These slate panels do not have an MDF frame, so the cloth must be glued directly to the panels. These slate panels are used in most Stradivari and Automaten-Hoffmann billiard tables.
