For centuries, the world as we knew it has come to an end. Nature has reclaimed what humanity took from it. You seek souvenirs and ancient knowledge to expand your tribute. What do you wish to discover? Did the words of your ancestors truly hold meaning?

Boreal is a game for two players, where resources are shared. In Boreal, you do not hold cards in your hand; they are divided between you and your opponent on a game board in the center of the table. You must manage the placement of your game piece under this board, as it indicates how many resources you have and which cards you can access.

For each card you reclaim, you must also determine where to position it in your pyramid to maximize your resources and victory points. Ultimately, the rhythm of the game is very important as well. Be careful not to fall too far behind, as the game ends when one of the two pyramids is complete.
