Ahoy sailors. I am Flint, the worry-eater pirate. My raft has just washed ashore in Worry-Eater Land. Now the adventures begin. When night falls, dreams come. Beautiful, funny, sad, and exciting dreams are all fine. But those nasty nightmares that wake you up in a cold sweat are a real nuisance. Fortunately, there are now worry-eaters. Children have worries, fears, and troubles, and they don’t always talk to their parents about them. Psychologists and teachers recommend worry-eaters as boxes for concerns. Children can write down or draw their worries or fears and put them into the worry-eater's zippered mouth. While this doesn't solve all problems immediately, it's a first step, and I bet it makes them feel a little better right away. And when the worry-eaters tell the parents about the worries, they can discuss them with their children. Additionally, worry-eaters are great for cuddling in both good and bad times, not just for kids.
