The Silver Dapple mare from Schleich Farm World actually has dark fur. However, due to the so-called wind color gene, it is significantly lightened and appears silver-colored. Even the eyelashes of Silver Dapple horses are light, often even white. This coat color is commonly found in Rocky Mountain Horses, Scandinavian ponies, and American horse breeds such as the Morgan, American Saddlebred, and Tennessee Walking Horse. The Silver Dapple mare from Schleich Farm World features a particularly beautiful gray coat with lush, light long hair and silver spots. Silver Dapple horses do not form a distinct horse breed; they are a color breed.
