The proboscis monkey from Schleich Wild Life is a primate species that inhabits the rainforests and mangrove forests of the Asian island of Borneo. The males have a distinctive large nose that can grow up to 10 cm long. However, they are not particularly good at smelling with it. Researchers believe it serves to impress females. Proboscis monkeys are diurnal mammals, live in small groups, and feed on leaves and fruits.
