Product details

Pachycephalosaurus

The Pachycephalosaurus is the largest bird-hipped dinosaur ever discovered. It measured about 4-5 meters in length, weighed 450 kg, moved on two legs, and lived in North America during the late Cretaceous period. Its heavily domed skull was 20-25 cm thick. Scientists believe that it used its skull to ram rivals or to impress them. Pachycephalosaurus means "thick-headed lizard." The distinctive feature of the Schleich Pachycephalosaurus is its dome-shaped skull roof with bony bumps. Based on the shape of their teeth, Pachycephalosaurus primarily fed on leaves, seeds, and fruits.
