Product details

Dromedaries live in the deserts of Africa and Asia. They primarily feed on leaves, dry grasses, and thorny plants. These mammals do not store water in their hump, but rather fat. When they cannot find food in the desert, they can survive for weeks on their reserves. The dromedary from Schleich Wild Life has been eating well lately, as it has a standing, well-filled hump. When a sandstorm is imminent, dromedaries close their nostrils to prevent sand from entering.
