The ibex skillfully climbs through the high mountains. It places its delicate hooves carefully and pays close attention to the path. The ibex moves through the challenging terrain of the Alps with a confidence unmatched by any other creature. It scrambles up to heights of 3,500 meters. However, for feeding, it usually descends from its lofty heights, as the lush alpine meadows with delicious herbs are not found that high up.
