Product details
As one of the most groundbreaking F1 cars of all time, the ground-effect Lotus 79 had proven to be the class of the field in 1978. However, in 1979 it was declassified, and it was a much more challenging season. The iconic black and gold JPS livery was replaced by a green paint scheme with Martini stripes and additional sponsorship from Tissot watches. At the USA West GP, Mario Andretti finished in fourth place, right behind the two dominant Ferraris and Alan Jones' Williams.
