Rokr 3D steampunk beetle kit : Rhinoceros beetle

Challenge yourself by assembling this tough 3D puzzle of a rhinoceros beetle and discover the beauty of mechanical art.

The rhinoceros beetle MI01 is the third product in Rokr's DIY Mechanic Organism 3D puzzle series, following the storm beetle MI03. Inspired by the real rhinoceros beetle found in nature, our designers combined steampunk elements to create a highly mechanical and aesthetic model of the rhinoceros beetle while retaining details such as body shape, horn, legs, and wings. The main body of the beetle is made from ABS polymer structural material with good impact resistance, the hard wings are covered in leather, and the limbs are made of soft PVC material to better protect the model.

As the commanding officer of the squad, the rhinoceros beetle plays a crucial role in the entire team—its intelligent brain, thanks to the core-armored horn, is capable of quickly coordinating tactics and issuing mission instructions. Additionally, its hydraulically-mechanical front legs, orange peel leather armor, and membranous wing heat absorber help it operate better on the battlefield and protect its body from enemy attacks. This rhinoceros beetle model features eight built-in brass piston-connecting rod sets that demonstrate how the engine cylinder runs at high speed. Furthermore, the LED motor indicator light illuminates the internal mechanical structure of the motor, enhancing the perception of power and making the entire model cooler.
