Air-drying clay can be processed very easily and cleanly. Precise work and modeling are not a problem due to its smooth consistency. There is no need to fire the clay; it simply dries in the air. If necessary, the drying process can be accelerated in an oven or ceramic kiln at a maximum temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius.
