Busy Mama Cockroach scuttles through the aisles of the pantry. Naturally, she is always trying to drop as much food as possible for her babies through the cracks in the floorboards. The hungry brood waits for the colorful food balls. The players place them, each in their own color, on the narrow track of the cockroach. Already, she is laboriously pushing a whole row of balls in front of her. Now the other players watch closely to see if one falls through the small holes in the course. There goes an orange one. And after the next turn, a red one, and then a green food ball. The children immediately add more so that Mama can take the ball on her next round. In the end, the one who empties their pantry box first wins. For experienced cockroach helpers, the game offers a second variant. In this version, the children collect their own mix from a shared food supply based on a template. Again, only what Mama Cockroach has pushed through the cracks to the babies counts.
