My writing workshop combines over 50 fun, original, and creative activities in a new box to introduce children to the gestures of writing. Shoelaces that are threaded through pegboards to develop fine motor skills. Graphic activities such as connecting dots, reproducing patterns, and following lines to learn the graphic gesture and how to handle a marker or pencil without lifting the hand. A letters and numbers workshop to learn how to assemble letters and numbers with modeling clay or play dough sticks, and then practice writing in print and cursive. Silent dictation games.
