Ravensburger Level 8 Master

New, more challenging tasks right from the first level and varied special cards add even more excitement and fun to the game! Two to six players navigate through eight levels and can check their level indicator to see what stage they are on and which task needs to be solved next. The 108 game cards are shuffled anew each round, and each player receives ten cards in hand. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center, with the top card designated for the dealer, who reveals it and starts their discard pile. Up to this point, Level 8 Master is identical to the base game, but the first task, "discard four twin pairs," is more difficult to achieve than in Level 8 and requires some card luck and keen observation of the other players. Just like in Level 8, no additional twins can be laid down during the course of the game; players can only add to existing combinations. The new special cards "I'll take this," "I'll swap this," and "I'll keep this" bring even more excitement to the game. These special cards allow players to draw cards from opponents or even take cards into the next round. Additionally, the jokers in Level 8 Master are divided into number ranges and are more challenging to play. They can no longer be used universally. To become a Level 8 Master, one needs not only a clever strategy but also card luck and good timing.
