Portal Extension of the game Root: Underground

Root Expansion: Underground is a major expansion to Root, an iconic strategy board game with highly asymmetrical gameplay. The expansion introduces two completely different factions – the Underworld and the Raven Conspiracy. The underground principality – the moles – surprises their opponents with an attack from below, while the ravens plot a conspiracy using their conspiracy markers. The expansion also includes two new game boards – Mountains and Lake – which fully utilize the area control mechanics with their additional elements, leading to even more competition. Thanks to Underground, we can now play Root with up to six players.
