Product details
Covering a period of 300 years, the Century trilogy concludes with Century - A New World. Explore the New World at the turn of the 16th century. The wild lands of the new continent are teeming with resources: game to hunt, plants to grow and harvest, new areas to explore, and a local population to trade with. Seasoned players in the trilogy will immediately appreciate the series's own trading mechanics and will have to adapt to the worker placement system. Discover Century - A New World alone, or combine it with one of the two previous installments (Century or Century - Oriental Wonders), or with both for a total of four game modes.
In ancient times, merchants tried to find new sea routes to the spice islands. Instead, they discovered a new continent, offering new resources to market, new lands to cultivate, and new peoples to exchange with. In Century - A New World, lead your pioneers to prosperity.
How a game unfolds: This third installment of the Century saga is played in a number of rounds. During a round, each player performs a turn (starting with the first player, followed by the next player clockwise). In turn, the player performs a single action:
- Activate: The player uses a place on the board by placing the required number of settlers.
- Rest: The player puts all his colonists back on his player board from the game board.
The game ends when a player asks for his eighth Points card. However, the game continues until the end of the round. The player with the most points wins the game. In the event of a tie, the last player to have played his turn is declared the winner.
