Piko Type (model railroad)

With the diesel locomotives of the series 363, PIKO continues its line of excellently detailed models based on DB classics. The PIKO model impresses with its successful shape construction, free from disturbing form separation edges, and the coherent implementation of all relevant details of the prototype machine. The PIKO model of the shunting locomotive BR 363 features straight, precisely aligned platforms, a buffer storage for silky smooth shunting operations without unwanted power interruptions, and lighting via LEDs. The cab lighting and the direction-dependent front and rear lights can be digitally controlled with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy model, equipped with a zinc die-cast frame, has a five-pole motor for excellent driving characteristics and high pulling power. Detachable brake hose replicas are included with the model. The factory-installed PIKO Sounddecoder 4.1 of the latest generation supports sound formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix®, and is mfx-capable. The installed speaker is specifically tuned to the locomotive type. Many locomotive-specific sounds, such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeals, and other switchable functions, can be accessed individually, with adjustable custom mapping for up to 44 functions. The rear light can be switched separately. Sound is also possible in analog operation – only engine noise.
