The PIKO model of the DB series 151 is a precise replica of its prototype. The locomotive impresses with its finest painting and printing, the reproduction of the starting lamp, attached front and handrails, a view into the engine room, digitally switchable cab and engine room lighting, as well as delicate pantographs. In terms of construction, the model corresponds to its other features 51300. The factory-installed PIKO Sounddecoder 4.1 of the latest generation supports data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®, Selectrix® and is mfx-capable. The installed speaker is specifically tuned to the locomotive type. Many typical locomotive sounds such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeals, and other switchable functions can be accessed individually, with adjustable individual mapping for up to 44 functions. The tail light can be switched separately. Sound is also possible in analog operation – only engine noise.
