Now this all-rounder from DB AG is also represented as a PIKO Expert model. The modern design of the locomotive has been precisely replicated. The single-arm pantographs are intricately detailed. Sharp-engraved bogies complete the visual appearance. To complement it, additional brake hoses are included. A powerful 5-pole motor ensures smooth operation. Equipped with two flywheels, the PIKO BR 101 stands out for its extreme running smoothness. Traction is provided by two diagonally mounted traction tires. Technical highlights include the installed, digitally switchable cab and control desk lighting. The light changes according to the direction of travel in red/white, naturally implemented with the latest LED technology. In digital operation, these functions can be switched separately. The PluX22 plug interface is already prepared for easy digitalization.
