Piko Electric loco BR 340 CD Ep.VI,DC

Variant of the BR S499 as BR 340 of the ČD in Era VI. The elegance of the beautifully designed machines of the Škoda 47E "Laminátka" type has been excellently translated into the 1:87 scale, creating a perfectly coherent overall image. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, have been elegantly implemented, and the strongly structured line design of the locomotive body is visualized through sharp engravings. Technical elements, such as the bogies, have been precisely replicated, completing the successful shape of the model. The colorful livery of the prototype, along with dynamically styled decorative elements, is also excellently represented in 1:87 thanks to elaborate painting and printing. The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor, whose smooth operation is perfected by two flywheels. A direction-changing lighting in red and white is, of course, included and executed in modern LED technology. For easy retrofitting of a digital decoder, the locomotive features a PluX22 interface. Thanks to a generously sized speaker compartment, vehicle sound can also be easily installed.
