The PIKO designers have once again succeeded in brilliantly translating this prototype into the H0 scale. The result is a model that excellently captures the overall appearance and characteristics of the DE 18, featuring a wealth of details, including highly realistic engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies that create an impressive sense of depth. The powerful motor with two flywheels ensures smooth operation, while the traction is enhanced by two diagonally arranged traction tires. When combined with a digital decoder, many prototype-like light functions can be activated. The attractive cab and control desk lighting is already a standard feature in PIKO's new designs. The PIKO new design comes factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder and the largest possible speaker.
