The Arc de Triomphe is located in the center of Paris, France. It was built during the height of Napoleon I's French regime. It is one of four representative buildings in Paris and is under the strict protection of the French government. The Arc de Triomphe is made of stone and resembles a tower with one or three arched doors, into which bas-reliefs are engraved that glorify the achievements of the ruler. The 12 avenues in the Paris area converge on the Arc de Triomphe and extend beautifully into the surroundings.
