Blue Banana - Card Game for 2-5 Players Aged 10 and Up

Bananas are yellow and strawberries are red... or are they? In the fast-paced card game "Blue Banana" by Piatnik, changing colors and symbols create a delightful chaos and a lot of fun! At the center of each round are two motif cards that display their respective symbols in incorrect colors. The namesake blue banana, for example, points to the blue whale symbol, which is actually blue, and to the color yellow, the correct color of the banana. The two to five players start simultaneously and try to grab as many cards from the display that exhibit the sought-after characteristics. What sounds simple requires a great deal of combinatorial thinking and lateral thinking! Can the brain be deceived by the wrong colors, or will players still recognize the desired motif? And which correct color belongs to the depicted motif? Since collecting cards constantly creates new options and speed is also crucial in Blue Banana, mistakes in the heat of the moment are bound to happen. However, players should not allow too many, as every wrong decision is penalized! If a player believes there are no more matching cards available, they can grab the Blue Banana in the center and earn extra points for it. After a total of eight rounds, scores are tallied, and the best "lateral thinker" can celebrate their victory.
