The dice game Schocken originally comes from the Rhineland and is predominantly played in pubs. In other parts of Germany, it is also known as "Jule," "Knobeln," or "Mörkeln." The rules of the game are somewhat extensive, but after a few rounds, players quickly get the hang of it.
