Chess is an exciting strategy game for two players.
Two players sit opposite each other and take turns moving the chess pieces on the board. The objective of the game is to checkmate the opponent, meaning that the opposing king cannot escape or defend itself.
The game board consists of 64 square squares, alternating between black and white. There are a total of 32 chess pieces, 16 white and 16 black, on the chessboard. Each player has the following pieces available: eight pawns, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, one queen, and one king. Each piece has its own unique way of moving.
Chess has simple rules, is not difficult to learn, and one can quickly start playing. Nevertheless, chess is very versatile, complex, and challenging.
