Frostpunk: The Board Game is set in a frigid, post-apocalyptic 19th century. Survival is possible only thanks to steam technology and its most advanced example, the Generator, whose heat is the source of life for what remains of humanity. As Councilor of what is perhaps the last city on earth, your primary objective is to ensure the survival of the city and its citizens in ever-changing environments, where the only constant is the freezing cold. This game is an adaptation of the video game of the same name created by 11 Bit Studios SA. To survive, you must constantly balance your decisions between managing and developing the city and maintaining the morale and spirits of its citizens. After the global cooling apocalypse, the only source of heat is the Generator at the center of the city. If you neglect it, you will trigger mass extermination by freezing. You must consider the consequences of your decisions, not only in the immediate future but also for the future. Some of the decisions you'll face will be against your moral compass, and some of the laws you'll have to enforce may seem harsh, even cruel. How far will you go to ensure the survival of the last city on earth?.
