Pegasus Stupor Mundi

Under the reign of Frederick II, also known as the "Wonder of the World" (lat. Stupor Mundi), a realm full of glory, culture, and power flourished. He was considered the first modern ruler of Europe, not least due to the efficient administrative structure of his kingdom. In the strategic expert game Stupor Mundi, players take on the role of Frederick II's vassals, building their own castles, training specialists, and issuing edicts that directly impact Frederick's palace. A game unfolds over several rounds, each consisting of an action phase and a final phase. During the action phase, players travel with their ships to new locations and play action cards, which allow them to either execute the card action or one of the two adjacent main actions on their game board. This is followed by the final phase, where players draw hand cards and receive income from their castles and allies. The player who collects the most victory points before the first castle is completed, all edicts are issued, or the action cards run out, wins the game.
