Babbling rivers, rustling forests, waving wheat fields in the wind, and here and there a charming little village - that's village romance. The video game from the small developer studio Toukana Interactive has been captivating the gaming community since its Early Access launch in March 2021 and has already won numerous prestigious awards. Now, Michael Palm and Lukas Zach are transforming the popular building strategy and puzzle game into a family game for young and old with Dorfromantik.

The board game allows up to six players to collaboratively place hexagonal tiles to create a beautiful landscape while fulfilling the tasks of the local population. At the same time, they try to lay down the longest track and the longest river possible, taking into account the flags that score points in completed areas. The better the players succeed, the more points they can achieve at the end.

Throughout the replayable campaign, players can unlock new tiles with the points earned, which are hidden in initially sealed boxes. These offer players new, additional challenges and allow them to continuously increase their high score.
