The classic horror role-playing game Cthulhu is based on the works of writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft. In the 1920s and 1930s, he created a multitude of novels, novellas, and short stories that revolved around both external and internal horror. His greatest and most enduring creation later became known as the Cthulhu Mythos. Here, ordinary people confront the terrible and alien forces of the Cthulhu Mythos.

Cthulhu has captivated its players for over 30 years. In this game full of mysteries, puzzles, and terrors, players take on the roles of steadfast investigators who travel to strange and dangerous places, uncover vile plots, and stand against the horrors of the night. They encounter sanity-shattering beings, monsters, and mad cultists. In strange and forgotten tomes, they discover secrets that no human should ever know. In doing so, they could very well determine the fate of the world.
