Pixies is a card game where small forest creatures take center stage. In each round, players take turns selecting a card from the center of the table and placing it in their display. They must decide whether to play the card as a Pixie, meaning as a forest creature, or face down as forest floor. Already placed cards can also be covered, but one of the two cards must be forest floor or become so.

What makes it particularly tricky is that the number shown on a Pixie indicates where it must be placed in the display. Therefore, players must always keep a close eye on their opponents' displays to seize valuable Pixies at the right moment. The winner is the one who collects the most points through numbers, symbols, and color groups.
