A track spiral is a spiral in which a train travels from one level to a lower or higher level. The train moves up or down the track spiral. The track spiral has the same gradient at every point, allowing even long trains to easily navigate significant height differences. It can be single or double track, consists of 6 segments, with a track radius of 360/437.5 mm, a construction height of 87 mm, a segment width of 165 mm, and a gradient of 3.8%. The outer diameter is 998 mm.

The application possibilities are very versatile. Here are some examples: to reach a lower or higher level, to access a shadow station below the layout, or to connect two differently elevated layouts.
