The heavy resin chessboard is a unique work of art featuring many details from the successful film trilogy. An ancient map of Middle-earth is integrated into the playing field itself. The chess pieces consist of 32 intricately detailed mini sculptures made of pewter, featuring characters from the first film, The Fellowship of the Ring. Expansion sets with characters from the other two films are available separately. The playing area measures approximately 38 x 38 cm.
