Modster Desert-Rookie - the adventure version of our successful Modster Rookie. The body is built as a sturdy cage. Strong bumpers protect the front and rear. The front bumper features two LED headlights. The full-size spare tire at the rear enhances the adventure look of this 1:18 model. The motor and main gear are completely enclosed, so dirt, stones, or dust cannot harm the drive. A sophisticated steering damper protects the 9g steering servo from heavy impacts. Including a 2.4GHz radio control system, a 390 motor, and a LiIon battery with USB charging cable, the Rookie is fully equipped, pre-assembled, and ready to drive immediately.

The powerful 390 motor is additionally equipped with an aluminum heat sink, ensuring good heat dissipation. The chassis is made of durable, stable plastic. The body is pre-fitted to the chassis and features printed design.

The cool studded tires provide particularly good grip on any surface.

Note: Some versions of the USB cable have only a red LED installed, contrary to the instructions. It behaves as follows: 1. When the charging cable is connected to the USB port without the battery, the red LED lights up constantly. 2. When the battery is then connected to the white charging port, charging begins, indicated by a blinking red LED. 3. Once the battery is fully charged, the red LED goes out completely.
