In the confines of space, where humanity is reluctant to venture, a solid Rove (abbreviation of Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer) is often deployed.

You are one of these units. Unfortunately, your navigation systems have malfunctioned, forcing you into a catastrophic attack on a hostile foreign planet. Armed with a single set of modules to improve your movement, you must roll, maneuver, act, and rebound to escape harm's way and complete the mission before your supplies run out for good.

Rove is a spatial puzzle game played solo. In each part of Rove, the player faces a series of challenges that can only be solved by placing the six module cards according to a specific scheme. The displacement of a module requires movement points obtained by discarding main cards for the indicated amount. Players can gain additional points if the current arrangement of their module corresponds to the motif indicated on the card that has been removed.

Each module costs one point of movement per activation and employs its own style of movement, such as moving only diagonally or repositioning other modules by one space. The modules also possess unique abilities that can help players avoid pitfalls. The timing of these abilities, along with the efficient use of the limited number of movement cards, is crucial for successfully completing Rove's mission.
