With a total current of two amperes and a fully integrated servo power supply, the 10FX provides an excellent foundation for all conceivable digital applications. It features four servo connections, including two for precision servos, two reinforced outputs with a three-pole MiniCT socket for uncouplers, pantograph drives, etc., and four reinforced standard function outputs. A swinging function for, for example, a steam locomotive bell is also integrated. The function outputs allow for the programming of special lighting effects such as boiler fire, neon tubes, US Mars lights, and much more. A voltage buffer is already integrated to buffer the servo switching peaks. Additionally, there is a separate buffer connection option for power capacitors. Important note: Inexpensive servos operate with an analog voltage as a reference value for position. The downside is that every start of a connected consumer leads to a brief drop in supply voltage. This results in other servos potentially moving due to the fluctuating reference voltage. Therefore, when selecting your servos (preferably digital servos), pay attention to the corresponding application purpose.
