Each Play Booster contains a combination of 1–5 cards of "Rare" rarity or higher, along with 3–6 "Uncommon" cards, 5–8 "Common" cards, and 1 land card. One card of any rarity is a traditional premium card. Borderless Mythic Planeswalkers appear in less than 1% of boosters. Traditional foil lands replace a land in 20% of boosters. List cards are included in 20% of Play Boosters.

The Collector Booster contains up to 2 foil cards and 10–12 traditional foil cards. It includes 5 cards of "Rare" rarity or higher, as well as 3–5 "Uncommon" cards, 4–6 "Common" cards, and 1 land card. Serialized cards appear in less than 1% of boosters.
